Professional Dog Training

Search And Rescue

Search and rescue is a type of training that can benefit others, as well as save lives. SAR comprises a large variety of abilities, and varies for locale and purpose. Any  dog can detect scent, but some breeds are better than others. If anyone is interested in SAR, we require that the dog first be evaluated. We evaluate the dog to make sure it has the right tempermant and drive to do this type of work.  Search and rescue is very rewarding, but also very time consuming.  SAR requires that the handler and dog be in top physical condition.  Most people don't realize that more training is required of the handler, than of the dog.  We offer a variety of different types of SAR training.  If you are interested, or have a dog that you think could do SAR, please contact us for more information on setting up an evaluation.
